Discover Green Canyon — Turkey's Emerald Lake
High in the Taurus Mountains above Manavgat lies Green Canyon — a vast emerald-green reservoir framed by sheer limestone cliffs and pine forests. Fed by dozens of cold mountain springs, its water glows in a shade of green so intense that locals call the area Turkey's 'jade kingdom'.
The lake was created by the mighty Oymapınar Dam on the Manavgat River — a great arch dam about 185 metres high, one of the tallest in Turkey. Behind it the water reaches depths of around 100 metres, staying refreshingly cool and remarkably clear even at the height of summer.
Green Canyon is one of the very few canyons in Turkey you can explore by boat. From the pier, comfortable tour boats cruise across the lake and deep into the Big Canyon, where cliffs rise straight out of the water. Along the way there's a swimming break in the emerald water — an experience you won't forget.

Where and when will I be picked up?
We offer free hotel pickup from Alanya and Side (and nearby resorts). Green Canyon is much closer than most day trips, so pickup is at a comfortable morning hour — we board the boat between 10:00 and 10:30. Your exact time is confirmed via WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram or MAX the evening before.
What should I bring on the tour?
Bring your swimsuit and a towel if you'd like to swim during the break or at Green Lake, plus sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and water. The spring-fed mountain water stays refreshingly cool even in summer. A camera or smartphone is a must — the scenery is unforgettable!
Are children and infants welcome on the tour?
Yes, absolutely. Children aged 4–7 receive a discounted price. Infants aged 0–3 travel completely free of charge. Please note that free infant places do not include a separate seat on the bus — the child must be held on a parent's or guardian's lap throughout the journey.
