How does the 2-day plan actually look?
Our tour is spread over two relaxed days rather than one exhausting dash. On Day 1 we set off very early from Alanya and Side, stop for breakfast along the way, and reach the Cappadocia region by the afternoon. From there the sightseeing begins: an underground city, the surreal Devrent (Imagination) Valley, a traditional pottery workshop, lunch, and the famous Love and Pigeon Valleys — finishing with the glowing Red Valley at sunset. We then check into our hotel in Ürgüp for dinner and a proper night's rest.
On Day 2, early risers can take the optional sunrise hot air balloon flight. After breakfast at the hotel we keep exploring — the Three Graces rock formations, Uçhisar, the sweeping Göreme panorama and a historic caravanserai — before a lunch stop in Konya and the scenic drive home.
